A note from the FacilitatorIt’s been a busy winter at Yarrilinks and the start of spring hasn’t slowed us down either! This edition contains details of a number of upcoming events as well as updates on all our events and news from over the winter period. I understand it’s proving to be a really tough season for farmers this year, and while we can’t make it rain, Yarrilinks can offer some opportunities to socialise with your community. Sometimes getting out and focusing on another topic with likeminded folks can be a welcome break. We hope to see you out in nature soon! - Alicia Merriam, Yarrilinks Landcare Facilitator

Yarrilinks 2024 AGM10 am - 1 pm, Saturday 12th October, Wheatlands Ag Museum, Warracknabeal Come help us celebrate our year! In addition to the formalities, we will be looking back on the year that has been, celebrating our achievements, and looking to the future together. Partnerships against Pests - demo day!Sunday 20th October, 15 min Southeast of Minyip (address upon RSVP) Come along to discuss the practicalities of invasive plant and animal management. Featuring demonstrations of pes management including warren ripping and baiting, and informative presentations from experts from the invasive species council. |
