Yarrilinks welcomes a new committee member!

We recently had a new member join the Yarrilinks committee, just in time to participate in the strategic planning process. We would like to extend a big, warm welcome to Madeleine Grant!

Maddie works as a biodiversity officer for the Victorian Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action (DEECA) in the Forest and Fire Operations Division, so she brings with her a wealth of experience in the natural resource management sector, and a passion for the environment.

Maddie is also president of Avon Plains Banyena Landcare Group (part of the Buloke and Northern Grampians Landcare Network in North Central Catchment), and a member of Rupanyup Landcare Group, which is how she came across Yarrilinks.

While the existing committee of Yarrilinks contains a wealth of knowledge and experience, it has been some time since a new committee member joined the fold, so Maddie is a really exciting addition to our team!

Welcome Maddie!
